Bayleys’ annual Collab Day celebrates the administration and support teams who keep the business running behind the scenes. Uno Loco created the 2026 event identity, developing the visual language across motion, environmental graphics, stage content and printed collateral. Inspired by the power of collaboration, the identity used bold geometric forms and vibrant colour to create an energetic, immersive experience.

Collab Day is all about recognising the people behind Bayleys. The challenge was to create an event identity that celebrated collaboration while transforming a large conference space into an engaging, memorable experience that felt distinctly Bayleys.
Opportunity
As one of the first major events in Hall 2 at the New Zealand International Convention Centre, we had the opportunity to pioneer large scale projection mapping across the venue’s architecture. Working alongside Streamliner, we transformed 88 metres of wall space into an extension of the event identity.
Our response
We developed a bold visual identity inspired by individual pieces coming together, reflecting the spirit of collaboration. This design language flowed seamlessly across stage content, motion graphics, projection mapping, environmental branding and print collateral, creating one cohesive experience that evolved from conference sessions through to the evening celebration.
What made it special
Rather than simply branding a conference, we designed an experience people could feel. By combining colour, motion, lighting and large scale projection mapping, we transformed the venue into an immersive environment that surrounded guests with the Bayleys Collab Day identity. It demonstrated how thoughtful experience design can turn an internal event into something memorable, emotional and uniquely engaging.
