Opportunity
This year, the challenge was to transform a familiar venue into something fresh, bold and unexpected. While the previous year leaned on whites, wood tones and greenery, the goal for 2025 was to create an experience that felt alive, energetic and unmistakably Cartology. By bringing the industry together in a way that combined spectacle with brand storytelling, we had the chance to make attendees feel both immersed and celebrated.
Our response
The design embraced a high-contrast palette: jet black furniture and surfaces punctuated with neon green highlights, crisp visuals, bold sound design and tech-driven moments that made the brand impossible to ignore. Cartology branding was integrated throughout the night - from entrance carpet decals and lightboxes to branded menus - creating a cohesive environment that felt both premium and playful.
The kinetic lighting became the true hero of the evening. Thirty-six programmable lights stretched the length of the Glasshouse, moving at varying heights and speeds. Each time a winner was announced, the lights shifted to match their brand colours, dancing in rhythm with the moment they walked to the stage to accept their award. It was a dynamic, celebratory touch that added energy, excitement and a sense of theatre throughout the night.
What made it special
What set the 2025 COTY Awards apart was the combination of thoughtful design, immersive technology and show-stopping moments. By reimagining a familiar venue and amplifying the energy of every win, the night didn’t just reward creative excellence - it created a fully branded, unforgettable experience. Attendees left feeling inspired, recognised and reminded that Cartology isn’t just part of the industry - it leads it.
