Collab Day 2025
Bayleys Annual Administrators Conference
Bayleys’ annual Collab Day is a celebration of the people who keep the company running behind the scenes - the administration and support staff across New Zealand. Uno Loco was tasked with creating the visual identity and design language for the 2025 event, including motion graphics, environmental design and complete event management.

The challenge: to capture the energy, colour and sense of fun that defines Collab Day while bringing to life a bold new theme inspired by the Memphis design movement.
Opportunity
Held at Auckland’s Viaduct Events Centre, Collab Day 2025 was all about vibrancy, connection and play. The Memphis aesthetic - with its geometric forms, layered patterns and vivid colour palette - provided the perfect creative springboard for an event built on collaboration and celebration. The large, open venue offered scope for an immersive experience where design could extend beyond the screen and into every corner of the space.
Our response
We translated the Memphis-inspired theme into a complete visual world. Giant physical shapes and decals transformed the Viaduct Events Centre into a dynamic, high-energy environment, while matching on-screen motion graphics tied every element together. Themed notebooks, pillows and other tactile touchpoints reinforced the concept and added delight at every turn.
To keep the atmosphere lively throughout the day, we designed a themed photobooth and bright food stall zones featuring “pick up and go” international mini meals. The event schedule balanced inspiring guest speakers with moments of play and discovery - all set within an environment that felt vibrant, engaging and unmistakably Bayleys.
What made it special
Collab Day 2025 was a celebration in every sense - of people, of creativity and of bold design. By leaning into the expressive shapes and colours of the Memphis movement, we created an experience that was both nostalgic and fresh. Every visual touchpoint, from motion to materials, worked together to spark joy and connection, leaving guests inspired, appreciated and part of something bigger.
