AIA Summit 2025

AIA Insurance Advisory Summit

The AIA Advisory Summit brought together 250 insurance advisers, thought leaders and AIA staff for a day of insight, connection and inspiration. Our brief was to deliver both the creative vision and logistical execution - designing an experience that felt thoughtful, seamless and distinctly AIA.

VISUAL IDENTITY | MOTION DESIGN | PRINT | EVENT MANAGEMENT | AUDIO VISUAL | REGISTRATION | TECHNICAL DIRECTION

Held at Wellington’s Tākina Events Centre, the Summit required full end-to-end delivery: event design, venue experience, technology and AV, food and beverage, onsite logistics, staffing and talent management. We developed the new identity, all branding assets, communications and registration components. Our role was to shape the physical and experiential layers that would bring it all to life.

Opportunity

Having supported AIA on Vitality Day and other wellness-led initiatives, our team already had a deep understanding of the brand’s tone, values and people. This Summit offered a chance to elevate that partnership - to design an event that felt both creatively bold and authentically on brand. The goal was to create an environment that inspired conversation and reflection while celebrating AIA’s commitment to helping people live healthier, longer, better lives.

Our response

We began by reimagining AIA’s iconic 1973 logo - the silhouette of Mount Everest - from a new perspective. Instead of looking up at the peak, we looked down from above, tracing the mountain range in a way that felt modern, geometric and fresh. This subtle shift inspired a whole new visual language for the Summit.

Dynamic motion graphics and digital assets brought the design to life, while a carefully balanced colour palette helped reduce visual fatigue across a long conference day. The physical environment - from stage design to spatial flow - translated this visual identity into an immersive experience, connecting the brand’s digital presence with the tangible energy of the room.

What made it special

This was more than an event - it was a creative collaboration built on trust. Working closely with the AIA team to develop a completely new event identity allowed us to gently push boundaries while staying true to the brand’s essence. The result was an immersive, innovative experience that captured the spirit of AIA - ambitious, thoughtful and deeply human.

  • Your expertise across operations and design elevated the experience – the Summit wouldn’t have been nearly as successful without your creativity and dedication.
