Opportunity: Pumpkin Patch asked us to create a series of films to promote their Summer 2015 collection, including a consumer brand piece telling the Pumpkin Patch story and reflecting the values of fun, childhood and fashionable, quality clothes crafted in New Zealand.
Solution: We chose a deceptively simple looking concept, an illustrated roll of paper embellished by a team of helpers in real time. An unexpected perspective and an ambitious idea, it allowed us to focus on creating a handcrafted aesthetic and telling a great story. We developed the idea further, introducing stop motion elements and kids and a kitten into the mix, gleefully attacking the logistical challenges.
Result: A polished piece of work showcasing Uno Loco’s consumer-driven media capabilities.
