Opportunity: Fonterra’s International Management Forum brings the cooperatives most senior leaders together for a four-day conference. Uno Loco worked in partnership with Fonterra’s internal event team to develop a world-class experience centred on the theme of CHANGE.
Solution: We worked closely with the exec and senior leaders on all aspects of IMF, including conceptual development of key themes and events, design of the visual identity and presentation templates, writing and producing hero video content, designing and producing all AV and technical requirements.
Our delivery of the gala dinner best demonstrates the strategic value we deliver beyond event and media production. Uno Loco conceived the idea of producing recipes created by artificial intelligence using Fonterra ingredients. Through our relationship with IBM we were able to deliver the globally renowned Chef Watson as our AI partner. The resulting menu was a sensory delight while also delivering a sensational experience of future food trends, technology and innovation.
Other key elements included partnering with Ngati Whatua to deliver a dawn ceremony at Orakei marae. Uno Loco helped to teach all delegates a newly written Fonterra waiata that was performed in the formal powhiri. Following the Marae opening delegates were transported to farmer homes around New Zealand. After spending the night with a Fonterra family delegates returned to conference at Fonterra’s Fanshawe Street head office in the Wynyard quarter. Uno Loco provided support to many different business units including NZMP, Anchor Food Professionals, Fonterra brands and CEO, Theo Spierings.
During the final diner at Auckland’s Aotea Centre, Speirings gave a deeply personal farewell to a leaving executive with detailed production support provided by the Uno Loco team. We helped source external speakers and coach internal speakers. We sourced and produced a range of premium entertainment acts and developed two bespoke AV installations using modular LED screens to create unique media delivery options.
Result: A transformative event where world-class production values were taken for granted as guests were inspired by exceptional messaging, media and interactive experiences.
