With just one month to deliver, Uno Loco was tasked with introducing Omoda – a new-to-New Zealand electric vehicle brand – to an audience of automotive media, industry partners and influencers.

The goal: launch two new models and the brand itself with a high-impact event that positioned Omoda as sleek, youthful and future-focused.
Opportunity
This was more than a car launch. It was Omoda’s moment to establish its personality and energy in a competitive new market. The brief called for an immersive environment that communicated innovation and confidence while delivering a serious dose of spectacle. Every element – from the event design and motion graphics to print and digital assets, needed to reflect a bold, tech-driven identity that would get people talking.
Our response
We created an electrifying brand experience that fused technology, entertainment and design. Guests entered through a dynamic LED tunnel that built anticipation before emerging into a futuristic event space buzzing with sound and light.
Highlights included robotic dancers, dramatic light shows, live music from a tech-focused DJ and the headline moment – a grand reveal that unveiled the two new Omoda models in spectacular style. Supported by large-scale motion graphics, pricing and product storytelling and custom event visuals, every detail reinforced the brand’s sleek, modern character.
What made it special
It wasn’t just a launch – it was a statement. The Omoda event captured the excitement of innovation and the thrill of arrival, turning a brand introduction into a full-blown celebration. With influencers, media, and key partners in attendance, the night established Omoda’s place in New Zealand’s EV scene with energy, confidence and undeniable flair.
