Shortland Street Open Day26 November, 2019
It’s not every day we get to work with New Zealand’s most popular TV drama, Shortland Street!
We recently partnered with TVNZ to help them produce the very first Shortland Street Open Day in the show’s history. It was held on set in West Auckland. The doors were opened to the public, with fans able to walk around the set freely, and meet some of the actors.
The event proved to be hugely popular with thousands of Shortland Street fans queueing for hours for a brief encounter with the show’s stars. Fans were told they faced a wait of about three to four hours, but they were undeterred.
Given it’s popularity it’s probably not the last time Shortland Street will be open to it’s fans.
P.S. Uno Loco also has a small connection to the show through Founder / Director Craig Muller who most of you will know. Craig spent over 12 months on set himself back in 1998 and 1999 as Pharmacist – Ewen Douglas.
