He was founding CEO of discovery business Localist, growing it from start-up to break-even in 3 years. His previous roles include heading Innovation Strategy for Telstra, leading FOXTEL and IBM’s advertising business for Y&R and Head of Consumer Marketing for Telecom NZ.
Troy Sugrue

Executive Creative Director

Troy is one of the industry’s best known creative leaders and strategists. His solutions draw upon the diversity of his experience in written, visual and performing arts, psychology, behavioural science and business strategy. Troy brings creative breadth and commercial perspective to solve business challenges.
Craig Muller

Client Services Director

Co-owner Craig heads the event team and manages client services. His early years were spent on stage and screen as a musician and actor, he actually joined the business after a stint on Shortland Street. Craig is Executive Producer for all live events and is an acknowledged leader in the events industry.

Media Director

Jared cut his teeth as a Jack Morton producer in New York and London where he worked globally with brands like IBM, Pfizer, Shell and Nokia, as well as Oprah magazine. Jared brings impeccable skills, experience and client-driven results to every project.
Sue Duncan

General Manager

Sue’s the woman with the perfect smile and the Prada handbag who built Soirée into a thriving agency before joining forces with Uno Loco. From a Performing Arts background, Sue was a dancer and dance teacher in Wellington in the 80’s and 90’s. You want Sue on your team not just because she knows absolutely everyone, she also knows her way around a wine list like nobody’s business. Sue currently sits on the Boards of CINZ and NZEA.
Richard Hughes

Having studied anthropology at Oxford University, Richard moved to China after graduating. After 15 years there he’s now a fluent Chinese speaker. In that time he has produced documentaries for international television, and TVCs for brands including Nike, Buick, Rolex, Volkswagen, BMW and Caterpillar.

Maggie was born and raised in Beijing and learned her fluent English living in Wellington for five years. Now based in Shanghai, she has substantial experience working for foreign multinational clients producing TV series and TVCs for Coca-Cola, Prada, Dior, UPS and Corona Beer. She’s worked on various feature films including Mission Impossible 3, Kill Bill and The Painted Veil.

Kirsty spent many years as a production manager in the Film and TV industries before developing a successful second career in photography. She’s recently joined us from Christchurch where she was post-production manager on What Now.
