Opportunity: Lion needed a video to open their 2014 Sales and Marketing Conference. We saw the opportunity to create a high quality piece of media that reflected the sophistication of the Lion brand and its people, and could stand alongside creative from some of the finest agencies in the world.
Solution: Inspired by the theme of Lion Unleashed, we wrote a stream-of-conscious voiceover from the perspective of a Lion employee. This used key conference messaging and notes from Lion’s Leadership team to construct a script borrowing rhythm and phrasings from famous gospel preachers. Shot on Red Alexa, the beautifully shot narrative of Lion’s people going about their work intercut with a fiery graphic treatment created a powerful story that really connected with and engaged the audience.
Result: A powerful, moving start to conference, and a film that has the potential to live on and be used to inspire teams around the country.
